At the turn of the year, one of us joked that they hope 2020 part 6 will be more positive. We do our part at Foulab and there are lots of positive vibes to be found at our events this month.

No Net Night - Tuesday January 6th @ 18:30 - 23:00

New Year, new No Net Night! Once a month we turn off the Internet at Foulab to see what life without it is like. People tend to get creative and there’s lot of activities and resources to enjoy at Foulab that don’t involve the Internet.

Mesh Night - Wednesday January 7th @ 19:00 - 22:00

On this night, we discuss and experiment with emerging mesh networking technologies like Meshtastic and Reticulum. It is also a good chance to learn about it for the first time if you are curious.

Mesh Nights are a recurring monthly event, hosted on the first Wednesday of each month.

Foulab Monthly Meeting (2026 Election Edition) - Tuesday January 20th @ 20:00 - 21:30

We will be having our monthly meeting on the open night of Tuesday, January 20th. Monthly meetings are where we discuss Foulab business. They are open to the public and are a good opportunity to learn about how Foulab operates and get involved.

This month is our annual election for Foulab officers. The members will be voting for the positions of President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

As usual, January events are all open to the public and free to attend, although we do appreciate donations.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are Open Nights. They are a great time for newcomers to visit the space. Sometimes events also happen on the these nights.

Mondays are our Workshop Nights. On these nights people make noise in the workshop and help with its organization.
